The Swedish Association of Zoos and Aquaria (SAZA)

SAZA manages a lot of projects concerning endangered species. The Lycksele Zoo is a participant of the following projects: Visent, Wolf, Musk-ox, Lynx, Grey seal, Wolverine, Otter, Arctic fox and Bear.

The European association of Zoos and Aquaria (EAZA)

EAZA is the coordinator of the breeding programmes within the European Endangered Species Programme. About 130 species are included in the programme. The Lycksele Zoo is a participant of the following projects:Otter, Wolverine, Musk-ox and Visent.
